Races 2024

Eco Trails, together with restaurant “Izvor” Lisine, organise 3rd edition of mountain run Beljanica Trail 2024 located in unique National park Kučaj-Beljanica on Beljanica mountain. This year we organise 3 races, opened for all adults and minors up to 16 years for Red Race and 15 years for Green race with parent’s Consent. In Green Race can participate even younger from 15 years but in accompany from one of parents. New race is called Blue Race and its mixed couple race (the best in total time wins).

Short Description

Both tracks (Green and Blue race share the same track) are circular, lengths are 19,4km i 10km, with 1140m D+ and 560m D+.

Start and Finish are on the restaurant “Izvor” Lisine platou, just above waterfall Veliki buk and near source of Vrelo stream.

Both races are leading towards Čemernički stream, then uphill until Green Race diverts to the right hand side. Red Race is going further uphill, over the highest point 1.339a.s.l, with short downhill and then further through forest cutting to the ridge, the most beautiful landscape on your route towards very steep wood Kaputa, so downhill until finish line. All times you will be followed with the most beautiful nature and dazzling panorama to be remembered.

Refreshing and control points will be on your route, equally distributed, based on terain configuration.

Time limits for Red Race are: 3h on the top (1.339a.s.l) and 6h on the finish line. Be prepared and fit!

There will be electronic time measure and on-line results during the races.
